EGYSEC 2018: security, safety and sustainable development
EGYSEC is the Egypt International Conference & Exhibition for Security, Safety & Sustainable Development. Zain Exhibitions organised the 2018 edition itself; its 2018 agenda lists the role as “Organizer – Zain Exhibitions”. The event paired a conference programme with an exhibition of security companies, vehicle displays, and military and police stands.

The event
EGYSEC paired a conference programme with an exhibition around security, safety and sustainable development. It ran 8–10 May 2018. Conference panels spoke on stage under the event screen, and officials toured the exhibition floor.
What Zain did
Zain created EGYSEC and ran it as the organiser. Zain also carried its name as organiser or co-organiser on ISF North Africa and AYD. In 2018 it also sold stands and sponsorship for UBM UK and ATEX UAE shows in Kuwait, Bahrain, China and Algeria.
On the show floor
- An “EGYSEC 2018” entrance arch with sponsor banners and uniformed security guards.
- Stands from SMS, IBC, Door Hy Sec and Smart Business. All four also appear on Zain's client list.
- A vehicle display in the exhibition hall, with Jaguar, GMC and Toyota Land Cruiser models, and a white SUV on an exhibitor stand.
- Military and police stands alongside security-company stands.
